QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

FAQ

Clarify what technical signals can answer first, then choose the appropriate diagnostic module or guide.

Can a clean diagnostic result guarantee my account will not be banned?

No. This site inspects observable network and device signals; it has no access to Anthropic internal risk systems or account history.

Why are the diagnostic tools split into separate pages?

Each module has a focused scope, dedicated network requests, and tailored explanations so you only run the checks you need.

Is having different IPv6 and IPv4 addresses considered an IP leak?

No. IPv4 and IPv6 are separate address families and should be measured independently; only compare addresses within the same family.

Does the trace probe represent all traffic to Claude?

No. It represents only this single HTTPS connection to the fixed trace path and cannot cover all login, API, WebSocket, or CLI routes.

Does zero hits on DNS blocklists prove an IP is completely clean?

No. It only reflects the specific blocklists that completed and returned a result during this lookup.

Is a Reverse DNS (PTR) lookup the same as a DNS leak test?

No. PTR queries the reverse hostname of an IP address and cannot verify which recursive DNS resolver your browser uses.

Does having Chinese browser or OS language settings cause an automatic ban?

No. Language preferences do not prove physical location, and Chinese locale settings alone are not treated as proof of a ban.

Do matched Claude cookie names prove an active login session?

No. Cookie metadata only indicates possible past site traces; the tool never reads or validates session token values.

Are local Windows settings or software names uploaded to any server?

Never. Local OS and software probes are processed strictly on your machine; network intelligence queries send only the target public IP.

Do open ports in Shodan mean my personal computer is compromised?

No. Those are historical public IP database records from Shodan InternetDB and often belong to shared proxy/NAT gateways or outdated scans.

Where should I submit an appeal if my Claude account is restricted?

Use the official Anthropic Safeguards and Appeals portal linked in your account notice; this site never submits appeals on your behalf.

Is canceling a subscription the same as requesting a refund?

No. Stopping future auto-renewal and requesting a refund for past charges must be confirmed separately in your original payment channel.
