Cross-Platform AI Account Management: Avoid One-Size-Fits-All Assumptions
Illustrative check sequence; verify against actual results.

Manage Policies and Accounts Separately per Provider

Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and other providers each have independent Terms of Service, supported region lists, and appeal workflows.

Scope Network Diagnostics to the Specific Target Service

Proxy split-routing rules may send claude.ai and other AI domains through different outbound nodes; verify per-domain trace exits rather than relying on a single IP check.

Keep API Keys, Passwords, and Billing Isolated

Use unique credentials per service and verify the exact domain before entering API keys or payment details.

Use Each Provider’s Official Support Channel for Account Issues

Our Browser Helper is strictly scoped to Claude domains (claude.ai, claude.com, console.anthropic.com) and never touches cookies from other services.

Keep account and incident records separate by platform

Maintain separate records of official domains, sign-in methods, organization scope, billing channels, and support for each provider. Use suitable credential-management tools rather than placing secrets in diagnostic reports. Subscription status does not transfer across unrelated platforms, and similarly named clients may have different operators.

Record the platform, product, execution context, and time before organizing network findings and account notices separately. One service working through a proxy while another fails can reflect different domains or interfaces; it does not by itself establish an account restriction. Claude cookie-name rules do not determine another provider's login status.

Before sharing evidence, remove full addresses, email addresses, and credential fragments from every platform. When switching services, check old renewal settings, new authorization, and data export separately. Change one platform-related setting at a time while keeping other conditions stable rather than attributing a multi-platform change to a single cause.
